Our services Include:
- Collection - of redundant IT equipment. In some cases we can offer free collection.
- Documentation - our driver will supply you with a Duty of Care Waste Transfer Note.
- Secure Transfer - to our site in our vehicles accompanied by a senior IT technician.
- Drop Offs - of IT equipment to our drop off points in London.
- Data Destruction - all storage devices have their data securely removed.
- Testing and Sorting - our technicians identify re-useable, obsolete/faulty equipment.
- Reuse - the best way to recycle is to reuse, this reduces the carbon footprint.
- Retrain - reusable equipment is donated to community projects to help the unemployed and young people gain IT skills.
- Recycling - faulty and hazardous equipment are refined ready to be recycled.
- Certification - We supply you with a Data Destruction document.
- Store - you can buy refurbished IT equipment from our online shop, with profits going to community projects.
What We Do
ECO Computer Systems Ltd collects redundant IT equipment for recycling and reuse. We are an Environment Agency registered computer recycler and hold a full Waste Management License. We provide secure data removal in accordance with ministry of defence standards, and in adherence to the WEEE directive.
Eco Computer Systems is a registered voluntary organisation. We refurbish and reuse computer equipment through donations to charities and non-profit making organizations. We also sell refurbished PCs that are not required for training in our store. This enables our business to make a profit and ensure our long term sustainability.
